Mars Curiosity Landing

For those that share a human interest in understanding the world around us and the universe we live in the successful Mars Curiosity Landing signals one of the most stellar years in research and development in our short history. First with the discovery of the Higgs Boson and now with the most astonishing landing of The Curiosity Rover Mars we are about to uncover some of the biggest questions posed by scientists for centuries.

The car-size Curiosity rover is the centerpiece of NASA’s $2.5 billion Mars Science Laboratory mission, which blasted of on a Saturday in November 2011 from Cape Canaveral in Florida. Curiosity’s main goal is to understand whether Mars is, or ever has been, capable of supporting life.
